Lion Ambassadors

Lantern Tours

Picture

Each Fall, Lion Ambassadors provide historical nighttime tours of the campus led by lantern light. Favorite characters from Penn State's history, such as an early 20th century headmistress, George Atherton, Old Coaly, and Evan Pugh, reenact some of the traditions and nostalgia of Old State. Food and fun are provided for student body and community members as they enjoy Old Main.
The bell tower is also open to add yet another dimension to the evening.

For the first time ever, Lantern Tours were held on two nights this year, October 27 and 28.

Lion Ambassadors would like to thank all the Penn State students, alumni and friends who came out to the tours. See you next year!

Check out what Penn State Live, the Daily Collegian and Onward State said about Lantern Tours!
