Who are the Lion Ambassadors?

Known for our trademark backwards walk and signature jackets, Lion Ambassadors are proud to offer tours of Penn State’s campus to prospective and accepted students, as well as private special assignments.

Additionally, Lion Ambassadors are honored to partner with the Alumni Association in order to host events and programming that shows our dedication and mission to fostering the idea that involvement with Penn State is lifelong.

Selected from hundreds of yearly applicants, Lion Ambassadors strive to continually be the embodiment of Penn State’s excellence and pride.

Our Goal

We aim to communicate Penn State’s history & personality, strengthen University traditions, and instill Penn State pride in current and future students, alumni, and friends. We strive to foster the idea that involvement with Penn State is a lifelong commitment.
