S-Zone
A Game Day Tradition
Born during the 1998 football season, the S-Zone has remained an iconic spectacle of Penn State’s student sections. During every home football game, Lion Ambassadors lead a cheering section of 800 students, coordinating special t-shirt to create an “S” which is visible from any part in or above the stadium.
While the blue and white “S” remains a consistent staple, we do like to sport variety every once in a while!
The S-Zone takes form in many different ways and locations. The S-zone takes form at different sports events, expanding all throughout the spring semester, and it even appears at other Lion Ambassador events like Be A Part From the Start!
